Welcome to the homepage of Carmen Heger.

I was PhD student for almost 2 years at the Human Language Technology and Pattern Recognition Group at the RWTH Aachen University.
Currently, I work as an Application Engineer at SDL Langauge Weaver Inc.

My personal research was (and as interest still is) is in statistical machine translation, especially of European languages and sign language. In particular, I am interested in syntactic models for machine translation and thus my research also involves tree automata and grammars.
