Currently I am PhD student at the Human Language Technology and Pattern Recognition Group
at the RWTH Aachen University.

My personal research is in statistical machine translation (SMT), especially of translating from Arabic.
In particular, I am working on several methods for Arabic segmentation and on strategies to combine these methods.
