Personal
Welcome to the homepage of Jan Rosendahl.
From 2016 to 2022 I worked as a PhD student at the Human Language Technology and Pattern Recognition Group
at the Chair of Computer Science 6 of the RWTH Aachen University.
My main research topics are in the are of statistical machine traslation, in particular I worked on
- Use of monolingual data to improve machine translation systems (semi-supervised learning)
- Data Filtering for machine translation
- Extension and properties of the attention layer
I was part of the machine translation group of Prof. Ney. You can reach me by mail at <surname>@hltpr.rwth-aachen.de
