Welcome to the homepage of Nicola Ueffing. I obtained my PhD from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, at the Chair of Computer Science VI.
I joint the Interactive Language Technologies group at NRC Canada in April 2006.
My scientific interests include
natural language processing, statistical machine
translation, machine translation evaluation and machine
learning.
My focus is on confidence measures for statistical machine
translation.
In summer 2003, I was part of the team working on
Confidence Estimation for Statistical MT at CLSP at
Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.
Here is my list of publications.
I was also involved in some teaching
and other activities at RWTH.
See here for private stuff.
